DAY 1
London to Phnom Penh
You will be met on arrival and transferred to Raffles Hotel Le Royal for a 2 night stay. Set in the heart of the capital, this historic hotel with a Raffles Spa and two swimming pools offers a peaceful oasis.
DAY 2
Phnom Penh
In the morning you will take a cyclo ride to visit the Royal Palace, The Silver Pagoda and National Museum. Built in 1866, the Palace is made up of several structures including The Silver Pagoda featuring over 5,000 silver tiles. From here visit the National Museum, housing the world’s largest collection of Khmer art sculptures, ceramics and bronzes, followed by a visit to the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum to meet one of the survivors. The remainder of the day is free for you to spend at leisure.
DAY 3
Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
This morning you will be collected from your hotel and driven to Phnom Penh airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Park Hyatt Siem Reap for a 3 night stay. In the afternoon, visit the Apopo Hero Rats Demining Centre, where Hero Rats detect land mines using their remarkable sense of smell, followed by a tour of the largest temple in the world, Angkor Wat. Later in the day experience a private sunset cruise on Tonle Sap Lake; the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and lifeblood of the Cambodian fishing industry.
DAY 4
Siem Reap
Today you will enjoy a unique breakfast at a traditional Khmer house in front of Srah Srang Reservoir, followed by a visit to ‘the Women’s Citadel’, Banteay Srei, a tiny 10th century temple built of red sandstone. After lunch you will visit the magnificent Angkor Thom, the last capital of the great Khmer Empire, viewing the sprawling Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the enchanting Bayon temple.
DAY 5
Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel you will head out for a tour of Ta Prohm, a mystical 12th century temple overgrown by jungle and the roots of banyan trees. Afterwards you will visit Preah Khan, an extensive monastic complex covering nearly 140 acres. The remainder of the day is free for you to spend at leisure.
DAY 6
Siem Reap to Koh Krabey
Today you will be transferred to Siem Reap airport for your flight to Sihanoukville. Upon arrival you will be met and taken by road and boat to Six Senses Krabey Island for a 5 night stay. Situated on a private island off the south coast, this hillside hideaway feels blissfully remote, with freestanding pool villas, traditional Khmer cuisine plus wonderful activities and amenities.
DAY 7 to 10
Koh Krabey
Spend four days relaxing and enjoying all that the island has to offer. Reconnect mind and body with a selection of wellness treatments at the impressive Six Senses Spa or try aerial Yoga. Head out onto the water with snorkelling, kayaking, paddle boarding and boat excursions, or venture off to neighbouring islands for a picnic on the beach. Explore the sustainable organic farm or learn the art of preparing Khmer dishes under the guidance of talented chefs.
DAY 11
Koh Krabey to Phnom Penh
Today you will be collected for your speedboat transfer to the mainland where you will then be driven back to Phnom Penh airport for your return flight home.
